Our Wholesome Mission
We are a small, independent supplier of fabulous pies. We are passionate about food and providing excellent quality fare. Our pies are beautifully crafted, chef Nick is a craftsperson.
It is our aim to use the best quality natural ingredients and all locally sourced as much as possible. Market fresh veg, that has little or no wasteful plastic wrapping. This creates a reduction in food miles, CO2 pollution and land fill. Working like this also helps keep our local economy thriving too.
We recycle as much as is possible. All food waste is composted. We try really hard to generate as little landfill waste as possible.
We only ever use free range in our kitchen. (Did you know, as a little side hustle we also make cakes for a select few establishments). We never compromise on taste or quality. We take great pride in all that we do.

Our four core pies, made with hot water crust pastry:
Kinder Beef & Thornsett Brewery Ale Pie
Local beef from the pastures below Kinder Scout and Thornsett Brewery & Hop Yard Ale. Succulent pieces of beef slow cooked in a rich ale gravy.
Chicken, Leek & Mushroom Pie
Tender chunks of chicken, cooked in white wine, with leeks and button mushrooms
Taw Valley Mature Cheddar & Onion Pie
Our secret recipe and weapon, makes the best cheese and onion pie
Vegan Wild Mushroom & Spinach Pie
Packed full of flavoursome dried and fresh mushrooms with herbs and spinach
