Our Wholesome Mission

We’re Live and Let’s Pie, a small independent team of pie-makers, cake-bakers, and event caterers serving up seriously tasty food in the heart of the High Peak.

 

We’re all about proper grub made from real, natural ingredients, sourced locally whenever we can. Fresh-from-the-market veggies (no pointless plastic in sight), free-range everything, and a whole lot of love go into everything we make. It’s food that tastes good and does good! Cutting food miles, reducing waste, and keeping our local suppliers smiling.

 

We recycle, we compost, and we try our absolute best to keep landfill to a minimum, because the planet deserves a slice of care too.

 

Most importantly, we never cut corners (unless it’s pastry). Every pie, cake, and dish that leaves our kitchen is packed with flavour, pride, and a big dollop of High Peak heart.

Kinder Beef & Thornsett Brewery Ale Pie

Local beef from the pastures below Kinder Scout and Thornsett Brewery & Hop Yard Ale. Succulent pieces of beef slow cooked in a rich ale gravy.


Chicken, Leek & Mushroom Pie 

Tender chunks of chicken cooked in white wine, with leeks and button mushrooms


Taw Valley Mature Cheddar & Onion Pie

Our secret recipe and weapon, makes the best cheese and onion pie


Vegan Wild Mushroom & Spinach Pie

Packed full with a variety of flavoursome dried and fresh mushrooms with herbs and spinach

Ho Ho Ho 

Roast Turkey dinner pie with all the trimmings – Turkey, pigs in blankets, stuffing, cranberry sauce, roasted vegetables, crispy potatoes in a rich turkey gravy.

 

No No No (Vegan) 

Vegan roast dinner pie with all the trimmings – roasted vegetables, crispy potatoes, apricot and wild mushroom stuffing, lentils, chestnuts, cranberry sauce in a rich festive gravy.

 

Feliz Navidad Pie

Slow cooked local beef, chorizo, onions, roasted peppers and fresh tomatoes in a rich Rioja wine sauce.

 

Three Wise Men & a Star (Vegetarian) 

Comte, Cheddar & Mozzarella cheese, roasted leeks and onions in a creamy white wine sauce
